These three organ improvisations were recorded live at First Presbyterian Church in Orange, NJ during a 'Dropby Recital'.
In each piece I have attempted to portray one of Jesus' post-Resurrection appearances. I see these scriptural events as 'true allegory': while in no way disputing the accuracy of the text, I nonetheless believe that at least one point of these stories being handed down to us some 2000 years later is that Jesus comes to each of us as He did to those beloved disciples: Always with a word of peace, but also in turn with a pronouncement against fear (Mary); with the assurance we seek (Thomas) and with forgiveness and restoration (Peter).
